Verlynn’s Chocolate Cake
This is a yummy moist chocolate cake. This came from a girl who has been my friend since grade school. I think of her every time I make it. You poke holes in the warm cakeand pour a delicious chocolate icing in the holes. Delicious!!
Instructions
Cake
- Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Mix remaining ingredients and then add 1 cup hot water. This might seem a little runny. Pour in a 13 x 9 baking dish sprayed with baking spray. Bake at 375 for30 minutes.
Icing
- In a sauce pan add all ingredients except vanilla and cook over medium heat until boiling. Cook 3minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Poke holes in warm cake and pour icingover warm cake
