Pudding Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups water
Mix together in sauce pan place on stove and bring to a boil.

- 2 cups flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk. Add nuts to batter, pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan , then pour brown sugar mixture over batter. Bake at 400 for 40 minutes
