Family Cheese Sauce
I found this in a little cookbook called Charm Country sauce. We loved it on steamed or roasted broccoli and cauliflower. Its great on baked potatoes, scrambled eggs, hash browns and breakfast casserole.
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 lb pasteurized cheese Velveeta
- 2 tbsp butter
- Place cheese and butter in a saucepan.
- Heat on low, stirring often until cheese is melted.
- Add sour cream and a small amount of milk until the consistency you want is reached.
