Mandarine Orange Cake
this recipe came from my Aunt Edith Holden
Ingredients
- 1 yellow butter cake mix
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 11oz. can mandarin oranges with juice
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Icing
- 1 large Cool Whip (thawed
- 1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 large instant vanilla pudding
Instructions
- preheat oven at 350
- Mix cake mix, oil and eggs until smooth
- add mandarin oranges including juice and chopped nuts
- bake in 13 x9 greased pan for 25 minutes at 350
- let cake cool completely
Icing
- Mix dry pudding mix with crushed pineapple when combined add Cool Whip and frost cooled cake.
