Mandarine Orange Cake

this recipe came from my Aunt Edith Holden

Ingredients
  

  • 1 yellow butter cake mix
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 11oz. can mandarin oranges with juice
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Icing

  • 1 large Cool Whip (thawed
  • 1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 large instant vanilla pudding

Instructions
 

  • preheat oven at 350
  • Mix cake mix, oil and eggs until smooth
  • add mandarin oranges including juice and chopped nuts
  • bake in 13 x9 greased pan for 25 minutes at 350
  • let cake cool completely

Icing

  • Mix dry pudding mix with crushed pineapple when combined add Cool Whip and frost cooled cake.
