Velda’s Spoon Burgers
My sweet mother in law made these as long as I can remember, her version of sloppy joes.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 can chicken gumbo soup
- 6 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
Instructions
- In skillet brown ground beef, season with salt and pepperdrain off grease
- add can of chicken gumbo soup, ketchup and mustard
- Mix together and let simmer about 15 minutes
- Serve on toasted hamburger buns, add a slice of cheese if you like
