This recipe came from Jeri’s husband, Mike.  He has been a good friend over the years, right along with Jeri.  He has come to my rescue lots of times, when Kevin wasn’t around.  This is the only recipe I have of his.

Mike's pizza dough


Mike’s Pizza Crust

Prep Time: 30 minutes


  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast (I use instant rise)


  1. Combine all ingredients and let rise 15-20 minutes.
  2. Roll out and top with your favorite pizza toppings.
