I found this in a little cookbook  called Charm Country sauce.  We loved it on steamed or roasted broccoli and cauliflower. Its great on baked potatoes, scrambled eggs, hash browns and breakfast casserole.

I have made this for years.  It came from the first Lion House recipe book I ever purchased.  The page is written on and stained from using it so much.  I have made a few changes over the years and it is still a favorite.

  This came from Our Best Bites.  They are a nice change from regular mashed potatoes and you don’t need gravy.  Russet potatoes are perfect for mashing because they are naturally high in starch, so they become light and fluffy. These were a hit at our house.

You could serve this tasty sauce over cauliflower and asparagus too.  This is another recipe from Cookery for Entertaining, Jeri and I used this also when we were catering.  I now use it at home for my family. Its a nice change from just broccoli.
